A beautiful rare English solid sterling silver and enamel box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1988 with the maker being SJR. It has been beautifully made being hand painted with a mallard duck in flight. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. No chips cracks or repairs to the enamel. The inside is gilded. It measures almost 2 inches (4.8cm) across by over 1.25 inches (3.6cm) wide by 0.75 inches (2cm) tall and weighs 76 grams. A superbly made very high-quality piece.
