A stunning large heavy German solid silver fish slice or cake server. It is hallmarked with the 800 silver standard mark and a makers mark and dates to c1910. It has been beautifully made being engraved with a Art Nouveau design. The terminal has been engraved with the single initial M. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 11 inches (28cm) long by over 2 inches (5.4cm) wide and weighs an impressive 160 grams. A very well made piece.
